... in der Oberkreide in Argentinien. Er war ähnlich wie Tyrannosaurus Rex, ein zweibeinig laufender Raubsaurier. Allerdings war Giganotosaurus mit einer Länge von 13 Metern, einem Gewicht von 6-7 Tonnen größer und schwerer als ein Tyrannosaurus Rex. Zudem hatte er längere Arme und an jeder Hand drei Finger. Forscher vermuten, dass Giganotosaurus bis zu 14 m pro Sekunde laufen konnte. Der Name - Giganotosaurus - setzt sich aus den Wörter gigas (Riese), notos (Süden) und sauros (Echse) zusammen. Giganotosaurus ist also eine riesige Echse aus dem Süden. Die Figur ist naturalistisch von Hand bemalt. Der Unterkiefer der Figur lässt sich bewegen, so kann Giganotosaurus auf Beutejagd gut zupacken.

... in the Upper Cretaceous in Argentina. It was similar to Tyrannosaurus Rex, a bipedal walking predatory dinosaur. However, Giganotosaurus was larger and heavier than a Tyrannosaurus Rex, with a length of 13 metres and a weight of 6-7 tonnes. It also had longer arms and three fingers on each hand. Researchers believe that Giganotosaurus could run up to 14 metres per second. The name - Giganotosaurus - is made up of the words gigas (giant), notos (south) and sauros (lizard). Giganotosaurus is therefore a giant lizard from the south. The figure is naturalistically hand-painted. The lower jaw of the figure can be moved, so Giganotosaurus can grip well when hunting prey.
