... können Kinder mit diesem Experiment beobachten: wie Wurzeln sprießen oder Würmer sich ihren Weg suchen und dabei den Boden durchlüften. Einfach die Behausung mit Erde füllen, Samen (z. B. Bohnen) oder Würmer (aus dem Kompost) hinzugeben und ganz wichtig mit Lichtschutzcover abdunkeln. Nur im Dunkeln kommen die Wurzeln und Wurmgänge bis an die innere Kunststoffwand. Das Schutzcover wird nur zur Beobachtung abgenommen. Inhalt: Behausung aus Plastik, Deckel mit Luftlöchern, Lichtschutzcover aus Pappe, Füße, Anleitung.

House for plant roots / worms

There’s a lot going on underground
... And this experiment gives kids the opportunity to watch it all: roots springing up or worms paving their way through the earth and, in doing so, airing the latter thoroughly. Just fill the box with soil, add seeds (e.g. beans) or worms (from the compost) and – most importantly - darken it with the light protective cover. Only in the dark the roots and tunnels of the worms will reach to the inner plastic wall. The protective cover should only be removed for the purpose of observation. Contents: plastic box, lid with air holes, light-protective cover out of cardboard, bases.
